Today was a momentous occasion at Rangarao Memorial School for Visually Impaired Girls as we celebrated the inauguration of our new chess class. The ceremony was graced by Ms. Shanthi, Senior Teacher at RMSD, who officially launched this exciting new program. Sri R Guru, the school Chairman, and Sri Nagendra Muralidhar, Vice President of the Karnataka State Chess Association and Director of the Mysuru Chess Center were present attendance.
Sri Nagendra will be sharing his chess expertise with our high school students every Wednesday, offering them invaluable coaching and guidance. The students have already shown keen interest and enthusiasm for the game, making this new addition to our extra curricular activities leading to their overall development. This initiative not only aims to enhance their strategic thinking and problem-solving skills but also to provide a stimulating and enjoyable activity. We are excited to witness the growth and achievements that will unfold from this enriching opportunity.
