NR Foundation firmly believes that empowering women is critical for the society to thrive. In line with the company’s vision to empower and encourage women to follow their dreams, the association has undertaken several initiatives to create job opportunities and provide vocational training programmes for women in tribal and rural areas, by equipping them with relevant skills such as bamboo splitting, sticks making, agarbathi rolling and packaging.
Under its Gadchiroli Agarbatti Project, the Foundation formulated a viable women-based rural enterprise model and achieved a milestone with sustained employment and financial independence for a large number of tribal women and households.
